Yousef J. Totah Esq.

Redwood City, California

Yousef J. Totah is a talented criminal defense attorney who was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. His passion for the San Francisco Bay Area, his dedication to his clients, and his courtroom acumen sets him apart from other criminal defense attorneys. He believes in a unique approach to client representation that focuses on the client’s goals. Armed with this information, Yousef crafts a defense strategy tailored to the client’s unique situation and interests. He understands that a criminal charge, even if the client is eventually vindicated in court, brings emotional stress and damage to a client’s reputation.  He is committed to keeping his clients’ records clean, and keeping them out of court, where at all possible.

After graduating from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, Yousef attended the University of San Francisco, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Yousef obtained his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law, the oldest law school in Orange County, CA. While in law school, Yousef interned at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office where he gained essential criminal law experience from several well-respected assistant district attorneys.

After beginning his legal career in both civil and corporate practice, Yousef has devoted his complete professional focus in criminal and DUI defense. He is a member of the State Bar of California, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the San Mateo County Bar Association.
